The founding meeting of the Finnish Canadian Rest Home Association (FCRHA) was on November 23, 1958 with 250 people attending and approving the first Constitution and Bylaws of the FCRHA.
Finnish Home
Finnish Home is a two-story non-profit complex care facility conveniently located in South Vancouver, B.C. Finnish Home was rebuilt in 1995 and features 64 private rooms, 11 of which are in a secure Special Care Unit for residents with dementia. Finnish Home offers common areas on both floors, spacious dining areas as well as wide open spaces and an abundance of natural light.
