The Finnish Canadian Rest Home Association (FCRHA) is a not-for-profit, charitable organization whose main focus is operating licensed residential care facilities and providing affordable housing mainly for seniors.
In 1958, a concerned group of Finnish immigrants saw a need in their community to provide safe and affordable housing as well as quality care for the elderly and frail..
Today we continue the founders’ legacy by honouring our Finnish heritage and the contribution of hundreds of volunteers since 1958 while adapting to changing demographics and needs within our own community and the community at large.
Governance and oversight of all operations is provided by a volunteer 12 member Board of Directors.
